Carl Strong has a unique style of reality humor blended with satire. It is thought provoking and relates to life as one sees it, but with a slight twist which adds meaning to everyone of his shows. His creative talents include impressions, singing, and developing characters such as the Reverend "Have Mercy."
Strong's versatility, stage presence, outstanding
showmanship and flair to work intimate settings as well as national
concert stages have made him one of the most sought-after headliners
on the entertainment circuit. He does more than tell jokes – he
entertains!
Carl Strong twice was voted "Best Comedian" by the Canadian Organization of Campus Activities (COCA).
He has appeared on "Showtime at the Apollo," "Showtime's Comedy Club Network," HBO's "Def Jam with Martin," "Evening at the Improv," "Comedy Central," the "Gladys Knight Show," "Politically Incorrect," "Full Frontal Comedy," MTV's Half Hour Comedy Hour," "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper" and has made various appearances on the BET Network.
In Las Vegas Carl Strong has performed at the Sheraton Desert Inn, MGM Grand, Sands and Bally's. He has also appeared at Harvey's Resort at Lake Tahoe and The Resorts in Atlantic City.
He has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in show business including Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Dionne Warwick, The Guess Who, Smokey Robinson, Lou Rawls, Al Jarreau, Paul Anka, Anita Baker, and Maze.
