Dan Riley specializes in parodies of other people's songs. This makes him much more than just another stand-up comedian.
His tremendous amount of experience enables him to adapt his shows to the most diverse audiences imaginable. From television work and concert appearances to success in the corporate field, his talents take him right to the heart of his crowd – and his comedy is suitable for audiences of all ages.
When he opened a series of shows for Rodney Dangerfield in the 1980's, Rodney was so impressed that he invited Dan to tour with him. In no time at all, Dan Riley was a main stage presence in Las Vegas.
Today, Dan spends much of his performance schedule at major business conventions. The corporate market appreciates his talent for entertaining its audiences without offending anyone. Stars from all areas of the entertainment world continue to call on Dan to open their performances. The long list of these stars includes Jay Leno, Bill Cosby, Dolly Parton, Frank Sinatra, Billy Crystal, Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Kenny Rogers and more.
Dan has made dozens of appearances on national television, including his starring role in the fast-growing HGTV Network's prime time do-it-yourself series "Klutz Around the House," which played for two seasons throughout North America.
Dan has donated his talents to the Arthritis Foundation and United Cerebral Palsy National Telethons. He performed for "wish-kids" at Orlando's "Give Kids the World" Village and has returned to his home state of Wisconsin for more than twenty years to host the local C.P. Telethon. He performs for many Charity Golf Outings and his concerts fund the Dan Riley Scholarship for Young Performing Arts Students, based in Wisconsin.
With hundreds of business convention performances and nearly a thousand main stage shows in Vegas, Reno/Tahoe and Atlantic City alone, Dan Riley is as experienced a professional as you will find in the world of entertainment.
