A native New Yorker now living in Los Angeles, Cathy is successfully pursuing an acting career in television and film. Her film credits include roles in "Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead," "The A-List," "Nervous Ticks" and "My Fellow Americans." Her television pilots include "American Nuclear," "Hot Prospects," "Everything But the Show," "Next Exit," "Carlos" and NBC's "Caroline in the City" in which she has a recurring role.

In addition to developing television treatments and scripts as well as writing screenplays, Cathy spent the '96-'97 season writing (and had a three year recurring role) on "Caroline in the City." She makes regular appearances on ABC's "Politically Incorrect" as well as Comedy Central's "Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist" and "Make Me Laugh." She has guest starred on NBC's "Just Shoot Me," CBS's "Everybody Loves Raymond" and the WB's "Safe Harbor."

Cathy's comedy focuses on family, growing up, relationships and real life from a very personal perspective. The Los Angeles Times put it best "... Ladman has such clever, well-written material and such a breezy, unassuming delivery that it would be easy to overlook just how good she is.
