Janine Gardner’s performance background spans the entire comedic spectrum, from headlining in premiere comedy clubs all over the country, to entertaining U.S. troops overseas with Bob Hope’s Comedy USO. She’s graced the main stages of Las Vegas’ prestigious MGM Grand, Bally’s, and The Riviera Resort Hotels, has appeared numerous times on SHOWTIME, A&E, and HBO’s Comedy Central, and was featured on Disney’s World Wide Millennium Celebration live via satellite on NBC.

She toured as an opening act for the late Ray Charles, and with comedy notables Pat Paulsen, Roseanne, Sam Kinison, Chris Rock, Tim Allen, Sid Caesar, Norm Crosby, Dennis Miller, Buddy Hackett, Kelly Monteith, and Tommy Chong. She regularly performs her original one-woman comedy/music show in the main showrooms of HOLLAND AMERICA, CELEBRITY, and ROYAL CARIBBEAN Cruise Lines, and has headlined corporate events for such fortune 500 companies as AT&T, INTEL, L’OREAL, NATIONAL TV GUIDE MAGAZINE, MAZDA MOTORS OF AMERICA, MICROSOFT, DELL, VICTORIA’S SECRET …and many, many more.  

   At home in Utah, Janine Gardner contributes her talents to community fundraising projects for people with AIDS, battered women, and Big Brother’s/Big Sisters. She is most passionate about her work mentoring high-risk youth, and is using her time and money to provide refurbished computer equipment for the scholastically disadvantaged. 

  “I started buying refurbished computers from a local disabled veteran who tinkers with “trash” to create useful, like-new machines from the equipment most of us throw away. For a nominal out-of-pocket fee, I can put a great computer in a student’s life. It’s a tiny need I can easily fill, one that over time could make an enormous impact on my community.  My project is still in its infancy, yet it’s beginning to attract the attention of corporate sponsors.  I envision one day being able to do much more, but meanwhile, I’m satisfied to make a difference, one kid at a time.”

  When she’s not touring, she can be found on the ski slopes of her native Utah, or clad in overalls renovating her vintage Tudor home on the foothills of the Salt Lake Valley.
