Tulsa, Oklahoma's pop-rock quartet Admiral
Twin consists of guitarist/pianist/vocalist John Russell,
guitarist/keyboardist/vocalist Brad Becker, bassist/vocalist Mark Carr,
and drummer/vocalist Jarrod Gollihare.
Named
after a drive-in in their hometown, the group formed from other local
bands and quickly earned a reputation for theatrical live shows and
well-crafted power-pop. Their album "Mock
Heroic" was released by Mojo Records in mid-2000.
Admiral Twin
opened for Hanson on the Albertane Tour 1998, and their
drummer, Jarrod Gollihare is the author of the Hanson Official
Authorized Biography.
What makes Admiral Twin truly soar is not only
their vocal abilities, but also their instrumental power. They
continually show off all the skills of true musicians and
songwriters.
John Russell's guitar playing drives the band with his
diverse styles. The power that comes from Marc Carr's base gives songs a
funky garage sound. Admiral Twin's song writing ability will
never disappoint you. Songs thrive on the instrumental capabilities of
the band. Admiral Twin's sound is more original than any other
pop band on the market. They have the potential to evolve and inspire
the same way their idols, like the Beatles, have inspired them.
