And that's just the overture for Toni Tennille. Known
for her rich voice, sensual melodies, powerful stage presence and accessible personality,
Tennille's career is as versatile as it is successful.
Rounding out 1998 alone, Los Angeles glitterati couldn't stay off their
feet for Tennille's show-stopping musical tribute at the prestigious Hollywood Event
"Diva's Simply Singing." The Television Academy of Arts
and Sciences honored her in an HBO Special, "The Best Years in
Television." BMI made a special award presentation to Toni at L.A.'s
House of Blues, honoring four million air (amounting to 200,000 hours of air time or 22.8
years of continuous play) for the Tennille penned smash hits "The Way I Want

In addition, she has appeared on virtually every talk show in the nation

Bursting onto the pop scene in 1975 as Grammy Award winner for "Love
Will Keep Us Together," Tennille soon was co-starring with husband Daryl
Dragon, on the ABC television series, "The Captain & Tennille,"
